Abstract
A method for operating a forwarding node of a communication network, wherein a forwarding node of a communication network successively receives incoming IP packets, inserts received incoming IP packets into a forwarding queue to wait for being forwarded, determines waiting IP packets to be forwarded and forwards the determined IP packets to a target node via a link between the forwarding node and the target node; a forwarding node for a communication network and a computer program product.
