Abstract

Provided is an ink set having satisfactory wet friction fastness, chromogenic property, and texture. The ink set includes: a first treatment liquid containing a water-soluble cationic resin and a first organic solvent; and a second treatment liquid containing a pigment, an anionic resin having a Tg of 0°C or lower, and a second organic solvent. The water-soluble cationic resin has a cation valence of 1.2 mmol/g or more and 6.2 mmol/g or less. The water-soluble polymer has a molecular weight of 500 or more and 4000 or less
