Abstract

According to one embodiment, an information processing device includes a first image acquirer configured to acquire a first image generated by an imaging device that images a forward environment of a vehicle; a railroad track detector configured to detect, from the first image, a railroad track on which the vehicle travels; a second image acquirer configured to acquire a second image including a three-dimensional position of the forward environment, the three-dimensional position being based on distance information acquired by a ranging device that measures a distance to the forward environment; and a railroad track estimator configured to specify, in the railroad track included in the first image, a target range in which a portion corresponding to the railroad track is absent in the second image and estimate, based on information concerning the railroad track on which the vehicle travels, a three-dimensional position of a railroad track portion included in the target range in the railroad track of the first image.
