Abstract

A non-pneumatic tire (1) is disclosed comprising a circumferential tread portion (10) and a supporting structure (140) comprising a circumferential hub portion (141) and a plurality of supporting elements (130) which are arranged radially between the tread portion (10) and the hub portion (141) and which extend from the hub portion (141) towards the tread portion (10) to support the tread portion (10) on the hub portion (141). In one aspect, at least one of the supporting elements (130) comprises i) a first portion comprising a first elastomer composition having a first stiffness and ii) a second portion, radially adjacent the first portion, comprising a second elastomer composition having a second stiffness different from the first stiffness. In another aspect, at least one of the supporting elements (130) comprises a first elastomer composition having a first stiffness and at least one of the circumferential hub portion (141) and of a radially outer circumferential ring portion (142) supporting the circumferential tread portion (10) comprising a second elastomer composition different from the first elastomer composition and having a second stiffness different from the first stiffness.
