Abstract
A charging cable for an electric vehicle and an electric vehicle charging system are described herein. The charging cable includes a plurality of power wires extending in an axial direction and configured for conducting direct current, and a cable sheath surrounding the plurality of power wires. The cable sheath includes a sheath portion touchable by a human hand. The sheath portion of the cable sheath includes a passive radiative cooling material.
