Abstract
The present invention relates to the use of galectin-3 or galectin-3 mRNA as a biomarker for the diagnosis, the prognosis, for monitoring the evolution, or for determining the risk of having or of developing a muscular dystrophy, or for determining the efficacy of a treatment of a muscular dystrophy.
