Abstract
An exhaust nozzle (50) for an aircraft propulsion system (20) includes a nozzle wall (78) and a nozzle ring (80). The nozzle wall (78) extends axially along an axis (30) from an upstream end (74) of the nozzle wall (78) to a downstream end (84) of the nozzle wall (78). The nozzle wall (78) includes an inner skin (92), an outer skin (94) and a cellular core (96) between the inner skin (92) and the outer skin (94). The inner skin (92) forms an outer peripheral boundary of a flowpath axially along the nozzle wall (78). The nozzle ring (80) forms a downstream trailing edge (76) of the exhaust nozzle (50). The nozzle ring (80) projects axially out from the downstream end (84) of the nozzle wall (78) to the downstream trailing edge (76) of the exhaust nozzle (50) to form another outer peripheral boundary of the flowpath axially along the nozzle ring (80). The nozzle ring (80) is axially abutted against the cellular core (96). The nozzle ring (80) is bonded to the inner skin (92) and the outer skin (94).
