Abstract

Disclosed concepts aim to provide schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods, and systems pertaining to displaying a graphical representation of values of a physiological parameter. Specifically, a consecutive set of values is identified, having values that differ/deviate from values immediately preceding and/or following the consecutive set. In other words, short term deviations of the value of the physiological parameter are identified, which may contribute to a cluttered and confusing display of the physiological parameter. Therefore, the identified consecutive set of values are analyzed with respect to a ruleset to determine a clinical relevance of the values, and the graphical representation is modified accordingly. For example, if the consecutive set of values is of low clinical relevance, then graphical parameters of the representation of the set of values may be modified to make the representation less visible to a viewer.
