Abstract
A method for operating a cellular network, wherein a first radio unit, RU, of a cellular network provides a mobile device with a first wireless connection, the first radio unit transmitting an electric energy to the mobile device via the first wireless connection and a control unit of a distributed unit, DU, of the cellular network registers the mobile device, the distributed unit associated with the first radio unit; a distributed unit for a cellular network and a computer program product.
