Abstract

The invention concerns a fiber preform (140) for manufacturing a fiber composite component of a wind turbine rotor blade (110), wherein - the preform (140) comprises a plurality of fabric layers (142), the fabric layers (142) being arranged on top of each other to form a stack (144), - each fabric layer (142) comprises dry fiber material, - at least one layer of the plurality of fabric layers (142) is formed as a stiffening layer (146), - the stiffening layer (146) comprises several stiffening rods (152), and - the stiffening rods (152) are held on the stiffening layer (146) via several dry retaining fiber rovings (156). The invention further concerns a method of manufacturing and a wind turbine rotor blade.
