Abstract

The invention relates to a method for transmitting and/or using a user equipment route selection policy information when operating a user equipment or when operating a user equipment connected to a telecommunications network, wherein the user equipment comprises or is able to access or to obtain energy-related information and wherein the user equipment route selection policy information comprises an energy-related information element, wherein, in order to transmit and/or to use a specific user equipment route selection policy information, the method comprises the following steps: -- in a first step, the user equipment comprises or receives the specific user equipment route selection policy information to be evaluated, wherein the specific user equipment route selection policy information comprises or is associated to a specific energy-related information element, -- in a second step, the specific user equipment route selection policy information is either applied or not applied, by the user equipment, depending on whether the specific energy-related information element of the specific user equipment route selection policy information corresponds to the energy-related information or not.
