Abstract

A frothing appliance (100) includes a housing (102) having a recess (102a), a froth wand (104), wherein the froth wand (104) has a longitudinal axis (A). The frothing appliance (100) also includes means for retracting the froth wand (104), along the longitudinal axis (A), into the recess (102a) of the housing (102), and means for cleaning the froth wand (104) when the froth wand (104) is fully or partially retracted into the recess (102a) of the housing (102).
