Abstract
The invention relates to a strain of Rothia nasimurium, live or inactivated, or an immunomodulatory fraction thereof, wherein the strain of Rothia nasimurium has "Colección Española de Cultivos Tipo" (CECT) accession number 30828. The invention also relates to a live or inactivated strain of Rothia nasimurium or an immunomodulatory fraction thereof, for use in the prevention and/or treatment of an infection or a non-infectious disease in a subject. A pharmaceutical product, a veterinary product, a feed product, and a nutritional product are also disclosed, wherein the product comprises a live or inactivated strain of Rothia nasimurium. Additionally, the invention refers to a use of Rothia nasimurium as an adjuvant. Finally, the invention teaches a composition comprising: (a) a live attenuated African swine fever virus (ASFV); and (b) a live or inactivated strain of Rothia nasimurium, or immunomodulatory fraction thereof, and the use of said composition in the prevention and/or treatment of African Swine Fever (ASF).
