Abstract

A projection system (2) and a control method are provided. The projection system (2) includes an image control device (20) and a projector (11). The image control device (20) stores an application and includes a first communication port (202). The image control device (20) is configured to execute the application to generate a control signal. The first communication port (202) includes at least one of a teletype serial (TTYS) interface (103) and a universal serial bus (USB) interface (204). The image control device (20) is configured to transmit the control signal to a second communication port (112) of the projector through the first communication port (202), so that the projector (11) executes a function corresponding to the control signal.
