Abstract

A method for creating a lighting ambiance in an external environment around a vehicle (1), when the vehicle (1) is parked, the vehicle (1) comprising a plurality of exterior lights (2) for regulatory use, each having at least one light source (20), the method comprising:- checking if the vehicle (1) is parked,- if the vehicle (1) is parked, allowing to modify at least one parameter subject to regulation of at least one light source (20) of at least one of the plurality of exterior lights (2),- if the vehicle (1) is not parked, preventing from modifying any parameter subject to regulation of all light sources (20) of the plurality of exterior lights (2),- realizing said lighting ambiance when the vehicle (1) is parked by modifying said at least one parameter of at least one of the light sources (20) so that the at least one parameter is not compliant with regulation and by lighting said at least one of the light sources (20).
