Abstract

A battery test apparatus and method may be provided. The battery test method for testing a battery (10) in a battery test apparatus (100, 1000) may include: generating a test pattern (300) in which a cycle (310) including at least one operation step for a test list and a loop (320) including the number of repetitions of the cycle (310) are set, based on user input; setting a tag (330, 332, 334) indicating a test type in the at least one operation step according to the test type within the cycle (310) for the test list; testing the battery (10) by charging and discharging the battery (10) according to the test pattern (300); and storing voltage data and current data in memory (1020) as test results for the test pattern (300).
