Abstract

A method of controlling a mobile machine (10) includes determining a slope of a ground surface on which the mobile machine will execute a turn, determining a location of a next working path (108), planning a turn maneuver (102, 104, 106) according to the slope of the ground surface on which the mobile machine will execute the turn maneuver and according to the location of the next working path (108), and automatically controlling the mobile machine to execute at least a portion of the planned turn maneuver.
