Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing on a surface (3, 12) a curable mineral binder based 3D object (2) having a circumferential side wall (8, 10, 15, 18) and a base with an additive manufacturing device (1), the method comprising the steps of: producing the circumferential side wall (8, 10, 15, 18) by applying, at a non-zero angle relative to the surface (3, 12), a plurality of layers of a first curable mineral binder composition in the setting state with a movable printing head (4) of the additive manufacturing device (1); producing the base by applying onto the surface (3, 12) at least one of the first curable mineral binder composition in the setting state and a second curable mineral binder composition (9, 17) in the setting state with the movable printing head (4); wherein producing the circumferential side wall and producing the base are carried out such that the base is abutting the circumferential side wall. A curable mineral binder based 3D object obtainable by this method is also claimed.
