Abstract

Landing device (7) for being installed at a landing (8a-8c) of an elevator system (2), the landing device (7) comprising a landing device air pressure sensor (16), which is configured for detecting a local air pressure in the environment of the landing device (7) and for providing a corresponding air pressure value; and a communication device (18), which is configured for communicating the air pressure value provided by the landing device air pressure sensor (16) to a controller (15) of the elevator system (2).
