Abstract

An eyelash fan (100) may include a plurality of hairs (102a-f) having a proximate end (104) and a distal end (106). The plurality of hairs (102a-f) may be coupled together at a coupling region (108) via an adhesive composition, heat fusion, or may be integrally formed. The coupling region (108) is positioned at a distance from the proximate end (104) such that the artificial hairs (102a-f) at the proximate end are not coupled or bound to each other. In this configuration, when the eyelash fan (100) is applied to a single natural lash, the artificial hairs (102a-f) at the proximate end (104) can wrap around the natural lash-thereby increasing the surface area and improving the wear time of the eyelash fan (100).
