Abstract

Provided herein is a tub for holding one or more nests of medical components. The tub includes a bottom wall, first and second pairs of opposed lateral sloped walls extending upwardly from the bottom wall and with corners formed between the respective lateral sloped walls, and a top flange formed on the lateral sloped walls, with the top flange defining an upper opening of the tub. Each of the first and second pairs of opposed lateral sloped walls comprises a stepped wall including a lower wall portion and an upper wall portion, with a ledge formed between the lower wall portion and the upper wall portion and including an inner surface and an outer surface. The tub is characterized in that includes ribs that enable stacking thereof with like tubs in a partially-nested arrangement, with the ribs provided at corners of the tub or in guide features of the tub.
