Abstract

The disclosure relates to a drive module (20) for an electric vehicle. The drive module (20) comprises an electric machine (22) having a rotor (28) and a stator (30), wherein the rotor (28) is at least partially ring-shaped and defines a reception space (32) provided radially and axially inside the rotor (28). The drive module (20) also comprises a differential gear unit (34). Moreover, the drive module (20) comprises a first single-stage cylindrical gear unit (36) having a first output interface (40) configured to be drivingly coupled to a wheel (18a) and a second single-stage cylindrical gear unit (38) having a second output interface (44) configured to be drivingly coupled to a wheel (18b). The differential gear unit (34) is at least partially arranged in the reception space (32) and the differential gear unit (34) is drivingly coupled to the rotor (28). The first cylindrical gear unit (36) and the second cylindrical gear unit (38) are drivingly coupled to the differential gear unit (34). Furthermore, an axle assembly (16) for an electric vehicle, and an electric vehicle are shown.
