Abstract
An electrostatic latent image developing toner satisfies the following: in measurements 1 to 3, an amount of change in endothermic peak start temperature owing to a change in maintaining temperature is 2°C or less. Measurement 1: A toner sample is maintained at 40°C for three hours; the temperature is decreased to 0°C at a rate of -10°C/min; and differential scanning calorimetry is performed while increasing the temperature to 200°C at a rate of 10 °C/min. Measurement 2: After Measurement 1, the temperature is decreased to 0 °C at a rate of -10°C/min; and thereafter measurement is performed in the same manner as the measurement 1 except that the maintaining temperature is 50°C. Measurement 3: After Measurement 2, the temperature is decreased to 0°C at a rate of -10°C/min; and thereafter measurement is performed in the same manner as the measurement 1 except that the maintaining temperature is 60°C.
