Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a roof window (1). The roof window comprises a frame and a vacuum insulated glass unit (3) which is supported by the frame (2). The vacuum insulated glass unit (3) comprises an exterior glass sheet (EGS, 3a, 3d) comprising an exterior major surface (3a2, 3d2). One or more glass sheets (EGS, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) comprises a projecting glass sheet portion (3p1, 3p6) which projects beyond a bottom edge (3a_be, 3b_be, 3d_be, 3d_be) of one or more of other glass sheets (EGS, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) at the bottom (BO) of the roof window (1). An extension (18) is arranged in continuation of the bottom of the exterior glass sheet (3a, 3d, EGS) and extends with an extension distance (DIS2).
