Abstract

There is provided an aerosol provision device (100) for generating aerosol from aerosol generating material. The device (100) has a receptacle (108) defining a heating zone configured to receive at least a portion of an article (200) comprising aerosol generating material; and a heating assembly (112) comprising a plurality of heating portions of the heating assembly (112) arranged on a plane. The heating portions of the heating assembly (112) protrude in the heating zone and are configured to be received by the portion of the article (200) received in the heating zone.
