Abstract

In various implementations, method and devices are disclosed that allow generating more than one instances of extrapolated pictures of a decoded picture by applying a plurality of neural-network post-filters to the decoded picture. Various embodiments of coded video data, one or more syntax structure NNPFC for temporal extrapolation neural-network post-filtering and one or more syntax structure for neural-network post-filter activation NNPFA associated with the one or more NNPFC and their processing generating more than one instances of extrapolated pictures of a decoded picture are disclosed.
