Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a system for controlling an assisting device for supporting or moving a patient's body part. The system comprises the assisting device; at least one actuator connected to the assisting device; at least one processor; at least one sensor configured to acquire a surface electromyographic, sEMG, signal on a user's skin. The processor is configured to determine an intended movement of the assisting device based on the sEMG signal and using an artificial intelligence model, and the processor is configured to control the at least one actuator according to the intended movement.
