Abstract

Systems are provided for a computed tomography system (100), comprising a gantry (102) configured to rotate around an axis of rotation and a detector array (602) comprised of a plurality of photon-counting computed tomography (PCCT) detector units (608, 610) configured to be rotated around the axis of rotation by the gantry, wherein a stacking axis of least one of the plurality of PCCT detector arrays is positioned at an angle with respect to the axis of rotation.
