Abstract
The disclosure provides an oral composition adapted for oral use that includes at least one non-tobacco plant fiber material or powdered cellulose in addition to one or more active ingredients, flavorants, or combinations thereof, such as compositions including a non-tobacco plant fiber material or powdered cellulose having a D90 particle size of 120 microns or less. In some embodiments, the non-tobacco plant fiber material is sugarcane fiber. The oral composition can be, for example, a pouched product wherein the oral composition is a particulate composition enclosed within a water-permeable pouch.
