Abstract

An image forming method includes forming, on a recording medium (P), a toner image including a white toner image and a colored toner image disposed on the white toner image (S01); and fixing the formed toner image onto the recording medium (S02). The recording medium (P) is a resin film. The toner image is formed of a white toner and a colored toner, and the white toner and the colored toner each contain an amorphous polyester resin as a main component. A formula of Vc > Vw ≧ 0 is satisfied, wherein Vw represents a content in percent by mass of a vinyl resin in a binder resin component contained in the white toner, and Vc represents a content in percent by mass of a vinyl resin in a binder resin component contained in the colored toner. The colored toner contains an ester wax as a release agent.
