Abstract
A method of repairing a fiber composite element (100) having a locally deteriorated area (110), the method including forming a repair section (120) in the fiber composite element by removing material from the fiber composite element in a repair area comprising the locally deteriorated area, the formed repair section having a continuous repair surface (125), placing a pre-formed repair patch (130) in the repair section, the pre-formed repair patch having a first section with a contact surface (145), the contact surface being at least partly shaped corresponding to the shape of the repair surface, arranging the pre-formed repair patch to bring the contact surface into contact with the repair surface, and binding the pre-formed repair patch to the repair section.
