Abstract

Disclosed are a venting structure of a battery case and the battery case. The venting structure includes a support body (1) having a venting cavity (11) and a sealing cover (2). A first end of the support body is connected to a base plate of the battery case, and a side wall of the support body has one or more lateral gas inlets (114) that are in communication with the venting cavity and the battery case. A second end of the support body away from the base plate is connected to the sealing cover (2). One or more venting holes (24) are disposed on the sealing cover to communicate with the battery case.
