Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for recycling of elements (1) comprising a mineral fibre material bonded by a binder agent. The method comprises: fragmenting the elements (1) for provision of a powder component (3); dispersing at least a portion of the powder component (3) in an aqueous solution (6); extraction of a first fraction (9) from the at least a portion of the powder component (3) in the aqueous solution (6); and extraction of a second fraction (10) from the at least a portion of the powder component (3) in the aqueous solution (6) for obtaining a cleaned powder component; wherein the wt%, by dry weight, of binder agent in the first fraction (9) is higher than the wt%, by dry weight, of binder agent in the second fraction (10).
