Abstract

It is presented an edge guard tooth (22) for a guard blade (20) of a hair cutting device (100), the edge guard tooth (22) extending in a lateral direction (L) from the guard blade (20), wherein the edge guard tooth (22) is arrangeable at one or both outer ends of the guard blade (20) in a width direction (W) perpendicular to the lateral direction (L), wherein the edge guard tooth (22) comprises a first surface (25) and a second surface (27) each extending essentially in the lateral direction (L) and in the width direction (W), wherein the second surface (27) is arranged between the first surface (25) and an outer portion (29) of the edge guard tooth (22), wherein the first surface (25) is arranged at a first height (H1) perpendicular to the lateral direction (L) and the width direction (W), and wherein the second surface (27) is arranged at a second height (H2) which is lower than the first height (H1).
