Abstract

Provided are coated fibers in which an adhesive composition free of resorcin and formaldehyde is used, and which have excellent adhesiveness to rubber and convergence, and high strength after friction and can be produced while suppressing contamination of a production facility, in which the coated fibers are fibers coated with a coating containing one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of an adhesive composition containing a conjugated diene-based rubber and a reaction product of the adhesive composition, and a molecular weight distribution curve obtained by GPC analysis of the coating satisfies the following conditions (1) and (2), and a molded body using the coated fibers: <Condition (1)> at least one peak is present in a molecular weight range of 2,600 to 19,000, <Condition (2)> an area ratio [(A)/(B)] in which (A) represents an area under the curve in a molecular weight range of 2,600 to 19,000 and (B) represents an area under the curve in a molecular weight range of 19,000 to 540,000 is 0.5 to 9.0.
