Abstract

The present embodiment provides a food disposal apparatus, comprising: a solid-liquid separation part, which comprises a filter part for receiving food from an inlet and separating liquid from the food, and which transports, on the horizontal plane, at least a portion of the filter part which is holding the solids of the food and drops the food downward; a decomposition part which is disposed below the solid-liquid separation part and decomposes the dropped food by means of microorganisms; and a collection part which stores the decomposed food, wherein the filter part can be separated from the solid-liquid separation part to the outside through the inlet. Accordingly, in a horizontal transport structure, all individual components that come into contact with food can be separated and can thus be cleaned and managed, and therefore can be maintained in a clean state.
