Abstract

The present invention relates to a seal cartridge (100) for sealing an interface between an opening (52) in a vessel (50) and a rotary shaft (12) of an agitator system (10) extending into the vessel (50) through the opening (52). The seal cartridge (100) comprises a cartridge housing (102), an inner sleeve (110) rotationally coupled to the cartridge housing (102) configured to receive the rotary shaft (12) along an axial direction (AD) thereof and to co-rotate with the rotary shaft (12), and a rotary seal (120). A first end portion (110a) of the inner sleeve (110) comprises an axially facing stop surface (111) configured to interact with an axially facing stop step (13) of the rotary shaft (12), such that the seal cartridge (100) co-translates with the rotary shaft (12) in the axial direction (AD) in response to an axial translation of the radially extending stop step (13). An agitator system (10) and a mixing arrangement (1) for mixing a liquid product (2) are also provided.
