Abstract
A developer carrying member (10) includes a shaft (1), a magnet (2), a sleeve (3), a flange (4), and adhesive (5). The flange (4) has a first fitting portion (41), a second fitting portion (42), and a groove portion (43). The adhesive (5) is disposed in the groove portion (43). A first groove portion (431) and a second groove portion (432) are formed continuously in this order from the first fitting portion (41) side to the second fitting portion (42) side. The height from the bottom surface of the second groove portion (432) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41) is greater than that from the bottom surface of the first groove portion (431) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41).
