Abstract
A developer carrying member (10) includes a shaft (1), a magnet (2), a sleeve (3), a flange (4), and adhesive (5). The height from the bottom surface of a second groove portion (432) to the outer circumferential surface of a first fitting portion (41) is greater than the height from the bottom surface of a first groove portion (431) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41). The height from the bottom surface of a third groove portion (433) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41) is smaller than the height from the bottom surface of the second groove portion (432) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41), and is equal to or greater than the height from the bottom surface of the first groove portion (431) to the outer circumferential surface of the first fitting portion (41).
