Abstract

A configuration card (1) comprises a communication circuit (11) and an antenna (10) connected to the communication circuit (11). The communication circuit (11) is powered by a current induced in the antenna (10) by an electromagnetic field (3) produced by an external device (2). The communication circuit (11) is configured for radio-based wireless exchange of data with the external device (2) via the antenna (10). The configuration card (1) further comprises electromechanical switches (12) configured to set a plurality of more than two switching states. The communication circuit (11) is configured to transmit to the external device (2) a data value depending on a current switching state of the electromechanical switches (12).
