Abstract

This application discloses an information processing method and apparatus, an information transmission method and apparatus, and a related device, pertaining to the field of communication technologies. The information processing method of embodiments of this application includes: receiving, by a personal IoT network PIN server, first information, where the first information meets at least one of the following: the first information is related to a PIN element with gateway capability PEGC, and the first information includes a first request for requesting creation of a PIN; and performing, by the PIN server, a first operation based on the first information, where the first operation includes at least one of the following: determining PEGC information in the PIN; rejecting the first request; deactivating the PIN; updating personal IoT network element PINE information of a PEGC in the PIN; and sending second information to a PIN element with management capability PEMC, where the second information is used to indicate a PINE that accepts to act as a PEGC in the PIN, or the second information indicates accepting the first request.
