Abstract
The embodiments of the present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a local service communication method, and a terminal and a network-side device. The local service communication method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a terminal sending a first message, wherein the first message is used for requesting for a local service; the terminal receiving a rejection message, wherein the rejection message is used for indicating that the request for the local service is rejected; and the terminal executing non-public network selection; or the terminal turning on a first backoff timer, wherein the terminal does not send the first message during the operation of the first backoff timer, and the value of the first backoff timer is determined on the basis of a valid time of a network that provides the local service.
