Abstract

A cooking appliance is disclosed. The cooking appliance according to at least one of various embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise: a top plate part on which an object to be heated is placed; a plurality of working coils and ferrites which heat the object to be heated; a plurality of inverters which apply current to the working coils respectively; and a processor which controls the direction of a magnetic field generated by at least two neighboring working coils among the working coils.
