Abstract
Electro-anatomical mappings of cardiac tissue are created at different depths using a multi-electrode catheter that collects electrical activity from within a heart of a patient. A signal analysis of electrical activity at a first location is performed based on electrical activity received from a plurality of electrodes. A depth of electrical activity at the first location is determined in accordance with the signal analysis. This process is repeated for a plurality of further surface locations of cardiac tissue and at more than one depth. A plurality of electro-anatomical maps of the heart are generated, wherein the maps depict electrical activity at different depths of the cardiac tissue.
