Abstract

The invention concerns a manufacturing method for producing a structural component (1) for a vehicle, comprising a providing step (E1) in which a first profile (10) and at least one second profile (20) are provided ; an assembly step (E2) in which the first profile (10) and the second profile (20) are arranged in an assembly configuration (AC) wherein the first profile (10) and the second profile (20) are movable relative to each other according to at least one degree of freedom; and a fixing step (E3) in which a fixing element (30) secure the first profile (10) with the second profile (20) by removing said degree of freedom.The invention also concerns a structural component (1), and a sill or a battery holder comprising such structural component (1).
