Abstract

The invention relates to a filling apparatus (1) for bottling containers (6), preferably cans, with carbonated liquids. The apparatus comprises a cartridge (43) and a head connected via a hollow pipe for the flow of carbonated liquid and/or inert gas. A key feature of the apparatus is a collet that surrounds the cartridge (43), which secures the container by gripping it from the inside at its upper rim. The collet is actuated by a threaded rod (3), which expands the collet's diameter to hold the container securely from above. The filling is performed through an opening (45) in the cartridge (43), directing the liquid to flow down the walls of the container (6), minimizing foaming and allowing for faster filling, particularly beneficial for carbonated beverages with high sugar content. The apparatus further includes features such as a protective transparent wall (5) and a flange with a cleaning inlet (9).
