Abstract

The invention is directed to a fiber material for reinforcement of structures, especially concrete structures, the fiber material comprising: a) A plurality of individually twisted composite fibers having a twist degree of 1 - 200 turns/m and/or b) A plurality of twisted cords comprising at least two composite fibers twisted together and having a twist degree of 1 - 200 turns/m, wherein each composite fiber comprises non-metallic load-bearing fibers kept together by an organic synthetic material.
