Abstract

An object of the present invention is to provide a vinyl polymer production device for producing a vinyl polymer at a low cost while reducing energy consumption. A vinyl polymer production device 1 of the present invention includes a polymerization reaction tank 10 for obtaining a vinyl polymer composition, a raw material vinyl monomer supply unit 20 including a non-recycled/non-bio raw material vinyl monomer supply unit 22 and a raw material vinyl monomer supply pump 24, a devolatilization unit 30 for separating a liquid vinyl polymer and a gaseous unreacted vinyl monomer, the devolatilization unit having a vinyl polymer composition introduction port 32, a vinyl polymer discharge port 34, a first unreacted vinyl monomer discharge port 36, and a second unreacted vinyl monomer discharge port 38, a purifier 40 for separating and removing an impurity component, and a circulation unit 50 for circulating the unreacted vinyl monomer to the raw material vinyl monomer supply unit, in which a recycled/bio raw material vinyl monomer supply unit is connected to at least one selected from the group consisting of the raw material vinyl monomer supply unit, the polymerization reaction tank, the purifier, the circulation unit, and a third pipe 73.
