Abstract

A composition comprising:a) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer constituent comprising:a1) at least one epoxy (meth)acrylate monomer, said monomer having at least one (meth)acrylate group and at least one epoxide group; and,a2) at least one monomer which does not have an epoxide group and which has at least two ethylenically unsaturated groups and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of at most 600 Daltons;b) at least one ester peroxide in accordance with Formula P1, wherein R^p is C₁-C₁₂ alkyl, C₆-C₁₈ aryl, C₇-C₁₈ aralkyl or C₇-C₁₈ alkaryl;c) at least one polyepoxide compound which does not possess a (meth)acrylate group; optionally d) at least one monoepoxide compound which does not possess a (meth)acrylate group;e) a curing agent consisting of one or more compounds which provide at least one epoxide reactive group; and,f) at least one cure accelerator,wherein the composition is characterized in that the molar ratio of epoxide-reactive groups to epoxide groups is from 0.6:1 to 1.2:1.
