Abstract
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a biomarker for determining a stress level, a detection method for the biomarker, a data collection method including the detection method, and a kit for determining a stress level in order to determine a stress level received by a subject by means of a non-invasive and simple method. The above objective can be achieved by using, as a biomarker, sialidase activity from bacteria in a sample acquired from a subject. The sample is preferably stool and/or the subject is preferably human.
